The Blue Cross is a national charity who aims to provide care, promote
companionship, and enhance animal and human lives. While a lot of people
know of the Blue Cross as a charity who rescues mistreated or abandoned animals,
plus a place where you can pick up a cute cat or dog who has been rescued to
take home and love.
The Blue Cross also helps pets when the owners cannot necessary treatment by
a private vet, and educating people about responsible animal ownership.
Why not help an animal in need by entering your dog into The Blue Cross
fun dog show?
In the Bridwell show, the Blue Cross is putting on a fun dog show for anyone
to enter their dog into. Classes vary from the waggiest tail, to best
Rescue dog, and fastest biscuit eater!
Classes are £1 each to enter and all funds raised will go towards caring for
the homeless and unwanted cats and dogs staying at The Blue Cross animal
adoption centre in Bickleigh, Tiverton.
Dog show classes:
Rosettes awarded 1st – 6th place and Special rosettes.
Pedigree Classes- £1 entry fee per class.Class 1 - Any
Variety Puppy.
Class 2 - Any Variety Sporting.
Class 3 - Any Variety Non- Sporting.
Class 4 - Any Variety Open.
BEST IN SHOW. RESERVE BEST IN SHOW. BEST PUPPY IN SHOW.
Family Dog Classes-
Class 5 - Any Variety Veteran (Aged 8 years plus)
Class 6 - Best Child handler aged 14 and under.
Class 7 - Best dog that lives in Uffculme
Class 8 - Best Crossbreed.
Class 9 - Most Handsome dog.
Class 10 - Prettiest bitch.
Class 11 - Waggist tail.
Class 12 - Best Rescue dog.
Class 13 - Fastest bonio eater
Class 14 - The dog the judge would most like to take home.
1st prizewinners of class 5 – 12 to compete for Best Dog
In Show and Reserve Best dog in show.
Please keep the show area tidy and clean up after your dog. |
